How much does a chauffeur cost in Dubai?
It depends on the car class and the type of booking. Indicative hourly rates start at AED 100 for a business sedan, and 5-hour and full-day packages cost less per hour; a transfer from Dubai Airport (DXB) to Downtown is a fixed AED 420. Is a chauffeur the same as a car with driver?
Yes. In Dubai the terms are used interchangeably: you hire a car together with a professional driver instead of driving yourself. The driver, fuel and Salik tolls are included in the price.
Can the chauffeur wait while I go to meetings or shops?
Yes. On hourly and full-day bookings the car and chauffeur stay with you between stops. On a one-way transfer, waiting time can be added to the quote in advance.
